Terms of Business
Any Estimate provided by Dent Wise Removal Ltd prior to inspection of the damage is indicative only and subject to revision. Once the vehicle has been inspected you will be provided with a final Estimate (or a revised Estimate as the case may be) by email or by a text message, which will be an offer to carry out repairs to the damage indicated at the price stated. The Customer’s agreement to proceed with the repairs constitutes acceptance of that offer and forms a binding legal contract incorporating these Terms of Business.
Shall be the date on which Dent Wise Removal Ltd confirms the arrangements, including the cost, date, time and location for the work indicated on the Estimate to take place.
You have the right to cancel this contract and you may exercise this right by sending an email to Matt Scott on the Estimate at any time within seven (7) days of the Booking Date. This notice of cancellation will be deemed to have been served as soon as it is posted or, in the case of an email, from the day it has been sent.
Repairs may be completed at a location agreed with the customer. Dent Wise Removal Ltd reserves the right to decide, in its sole discretion, upon the suitability of the location and will not be obliged to complete repairs if the location is not safe or suitable. This location may, therefore, be changed at any time including on the day of the booked repair as variable factors, including but limited to, weather and available light affect this decision. If, for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather, Dent Wise Removal Ltd is unable to carry out the repair(s) at the time, date or location indicated on the Estimate or subsequently agreed at the time of booking, Dent Wise Removal will not accept any liability for costs or inconvenience incurred by the customer as a result. Dent Wise Removal Ltd will make an offer to conduct the repair(s) at the Estimate price at an alternative time, date or location convenient to both parties.
Dent Wise Removal Ltd undertakes to carry out the Repair(s) indicated on the Estimate. If it becomes clear that, in the opinion of Dent Wise Removal Ltd, that further work is necessary to complete the Repair(s), the customer’s authorisation and agreement will be obtained before any further work is carried out that would increase the price on the Estimate. If such authorisation is not given, Dent Wise Removal Ltd reserves the right not to continue with the Repair(s).
Further work that does not increase the Estimate price may be carried out without the requirement for customer authorisation. Estimates are based on the individual repair and are calculated with a safe time-guideline to ensure we can complete the Repair(s). If the Repair(s) are completed under the estimated time-guideline the Customer is liable to pay the full Estimate. Please be aware that some dents contain undetectable paint damage. During the paintless dent removal this could cause visual paint damage. At this point Dent Wise Removal Ltd will stop any further repair, and will advise you (the customer) that this is beyond the realm of our capabilities and that you should seek further repair work from a body shop. During analysis of the dent if we feel there is a risk of paint damage occurring we will always give you (the customer) the option to cease work on the repair. If you consent to the repair and paint damage occurs please be aware that Dent Wise Removal Ltd will not be liable for any further repair costs.
Unless other arrangements have been agreed before the Repair(s) is carried out, payment is due in full upon completion of the Repair. Payment may be made by cheque, cash, BACS or any other method agreed with Dent Wise Removal.
Terms of Payment
Terms of payment are strictly twenty-four (24) hours net and we have a right to recover Interest and Compensation for any invoice paid late under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Dent Wise Removal Ltd reserves the right to decline to act or decline to continue to act or to request payment in advance in part or whole of the agreed price or to require staged payments.
